To edit your profile or read private messages click on the corresponding link in the "Members Menu". You will have to login using email and password that you have used during the registration.

Pictures you are posting will be available on your profile as soon as they are reviewed by our staff. It can take up to 24 hours, please be patient. This is done in order to ensure that no illegal/unproper content is placed on our site. Please note that we reserve the right to deny any picture that we feel is inappropriate. Please do not upload x - rated, copyrighted or pictures with other website logo on it.

Click on any item of "Members Menu" to get to login page and click on "Password Reminder" link, type email address that is on your profile and we will email your password there. Of course if you used fake email address during the signup it wouldn't work :)

You will not be able to rate a member in two cases. First - if you have already rated him. And second - if you are looking at your own profile. We hope it make sense :)

Check if you have rigth email address on your profile. You can change it anytime on "Edit Profile" page. Other possibility is that our emails are going into "Bulk mail" folder.

Email providers like AOL, Yahoo!, Hotmail, and others are constantly changing their methods to classify email. Our system delivers email to all accounts the same way, and the vast majority get it in their main inbox. Some email providers filter messages based on content, subject line, or the "From" address and may put your email into the recipient's bulk mail folder. We recommend that you add our domain tiredtobesingle.com to the 'Approved Sender' list.

For email service providers that do not offer such 'Approved Sender' lists, we recommend requesting the provider to ensure that mail from the tiredtobesingle.com domain be permitted.

Due to anonymous nature of the Internet, it is difficult to confirm the true identity of a person. Thus, this opens up the possibility of becoming victim to various online moneymaking scams, that are difficult to track and even more difficult to find the person responsible.

An example of one of the better known schemes, a letter from Nigeria, follows:

I know this proposal may come to you as a surprise considering the fact that we have not had any formal acquaintance before, but all the same I would want you for the sake of god to give this an immediate attention in view of the fact that the security of my live and possession is at stake .
I am mrs rita williams from war ravaged sierra leone but presently domiciled in abidjan ivory coast with my two sons .my husband mr george williams who before his untimely assassination by the rebels was the director of sierra leone diamond corporation (ldc) .
he was killed in our government residential house along side two of my other children ,two house maids and one government attached security guard, fortunately for i, and my two sons,we were on a week end visit to our home town as we got the news of the tragedy ,we immediately managed to ran into neighbouring country ivory coast for refuge .
as we were coming into this country ,we had some documents of a deposit of $15.5m usd (fifteen million five hundred thousand united state dollars ) made by my late husband in a security and trust company .
following the content of my husband,s which i saw it reads that he intended to use this fund for his international business transaction after his tenure in office but was unfortunately murdered . i had located the security company where the money is deposited with the help of an attorney and stablished ownership. please right now ,with the bitter experiences we had in our country,coupled with the recent political upheavals and hostilities in this country ivory coast ,we desire seriously to leave here and live the rest of our life into a more peaceful and politically stable country like yours hence this proposal and request .we therefore wish you can help me in the following regards.

1) to provide me with a good bank account to transfer the money into.
2) to help me invest the money into a lucrative business .
3) to assist my two sons get a college admission to further their education.

This is actual letter that someone has attempted to send over 500 times to our members. However, thanks to our advanced spam-filtering system, the person was unsuccessful in his/her attempts to send the message through. Basically what the message entails is: "Send me 100 or 200 dollars to help with my dilemma and I will give you 10% of my 15 million USD." The unbelievable part is there are some people who actually fell for this! But you aren't one of them, are you :) Good!

There is also the following well-known dating scam:

Someone creates a fake personal profile of a woman who lives in a poor area of Asia, Russia or Africa and includes a pretty picture. Then hundreds of messages are sent to male members inviting them for conversation. After emailing back and forth numerous times and gaining the man's trust, the woman mentions how nice it would be to visit him, however she has no money for the visa, ticket, etc. If the man does decide to help her, the best way is to offer reimbursement on arrival or something similar. We are not saying all of such cases are scams, but 95% are in fact. So we advise you to use your common sense and do not send the cash directly.

It allows you to let us know that there is something wrong with a profile so we can take a look and verify this. You can help us to keep this dating site free of fake profiles or profiles with offensive language, etc.

When you click "Report Spam" button the notification send to the site administrator to review the message you are reporting. After review administrator can decide to warn sender of this message or delete sender's profile if it is in violation with membership terms and conditions. By reporting spam you are helping us to keep this service clean and fun to use.

When you click "Block" button on the conversation thread you are viewing your correspondent is entered into your "Blocked Members" list. Existing conversation will be removed from your messages page and all future messages from such members will be blocked. You can remove ("unblock") people from your list at any time.
